Aligning Strategy, Spending, and Stewardship

A mission-focused budget does more than tweak last year’s numbers—it strengthens your ministry’s mission and moves it forward. Every dollar becomes an intentional investment in the work you’re called to do. This session will help you see your budget not merely as a spreadsheet but as a strategic ministry tool—an expression of your mission and priorities in financial form. We’ll explore how to align budget decisions with long-term ministry goals, communicate your financial plan in ways that build trust, and ensure that spending reflects what matters most.

Alongside these big-picture ideas, this session will also get practical. You’ll gain budgeting and accounting best practices that strengthen transparency, improve planning, and simplify decision-making. Whether you’re a pastor, principal, council member, or treasurer, you’ll leave equipped to help your church or school move from maintenance-mode budgeting to mission-minded financial planning.
