Understanding Personalities to Strengthen Ministry Teams
Ministry is filled with people who are passionate about serving—but that doesn’t mean they all serve the same way. Personality differences can lead to frustration, miscommunication, or even conflict on ministry teams. But those same differences, when understood and appreciated, can become a powerful asset to the body of Christ. This breakout explores four basic personality types and how they shape the way people interact, make decisions, and approach service. You’ll gain insight into your own wiring and discover why others may respond differently to the same situation. More importantly, you’ll learn how to adapt, communicate, and collaborate more effectively across personality lines.
Whether you serve on a staff, a church council, a school faculty, or a volunteer team, understanding personalities can strengthen trust, reduce conflict, and foster deeper unity. God made us different on purpose. This session will help you see those differences not as obstacles but as gifts for building up the body of Christ and carrying out ministry together.
